Zeca participa de homenagem a João Nogueira

João Nogueira foi um dos mais importantes sambistas de sua geração. Com letras belíssimas e uma interpretação carismática, João é lembrado por todos os sambistas com muito carinho e admiração.
Com o Zeca não seria diferente. Fã do cantor e compositor, que faleceu precocemente em 2000, com menos de 60 anos, Zeca participou recentemente do projeto "Samba Book" do João Nogueira.
Zeca interpretou a canção "Do jeito que o rei mandou", ouça aqui sua versão para esse clássico da música brasileira.
No site do projeto, Zeca deixou este depoimento:
“Cresci ouvindo João Nogueira, meu irmão era muito fã, cantava igual ao ele. Conheço tudo dele, todas as músicas que ele gravou. Conheci o João pessoalmente pouco, logo depois que a gente se encontrou ele veio a falecer. Fomos num programa de aniversário da Hebe e ficamos no mesmo hotel em SP. Me lembro que contamos muitas histórias. Todas as canções do João são lindas – gosto muito de “As Forças da Natureza”, dessa que eu cantei no projeto (Do jeito que o rei mandou ) dos Espelhos 1 e 2…João foi grande, João é grande”.
